"Once you discover one simple fact, and that is everything around you that you call life, was made up by people who were no smarter than you." - Steve Jobs
Being in the Tech industry now has so many perks, incentives, and I can barely sleep at night as I continue to share my journey, which is one reason why I am writing this blog today and going to be creating these series of blogs called techspirations. Techspirations are my inspirations of why I got into technology, whether there in business, technology, entrepreneurship, life, etc. Having role models and people to aspire to be like is a great indicator that someone is on the right path. Majority of all time greats are inspired by someone and look to someone for guidance, such as Kobe having Jordan, Buffett having Gates, etc. Therefore, I want to speak now on some of my inspirations.

One of my favourite authors of all time and books that I enjoy reading are from Robert Kiyosaki the founder of the Rich Dad Company and author of the best seller Rich Dad, Poor Dad, a personal finance book. The reason why I love Robert Kiyosaki books is because they are easy to read, simple, precise, concise, and filled with tons of knowledge of the world of business, investing, and entrepreneurship. Despite his best seller being Rich Dad, Poor Dad, my favourite book of his to read is Rich Dad: Guide to Investing.

In the book Guide to Investing, Robert Kiyosaki has conversations with his Rich Dad and his son breaking down what it takes to be wealthy and succeed in the world of entrepreneurship, business, and investing. It starts off by Robert Kiyosaki trying to invest with his Rich Dad, but then can't simply because he was not an accredited investor. An accredited investor is someone who has an income of $200,000 over the course of a couple of years or has a spouse with a combined income of $300,000 or has a net worth of $1,000,000. According to the SEC which is the Security and Exchange Commission, you cannot invest in certain investments if you are not accredited. Therefore, as a result, his Rich Dad gave Robert a choice whether to be rich or continue being at the state that he was in, and Robert Kiyosaki chose being rich.

Entrepreneurship was the key for Robert Kiyosaki to be able to reach his goals of becoming wealthy and obtaining financial freedom. He invested in real-estate, conventional businesses, stocks, etc. and at age 47 finally became financially free and an accredited investor. He speaks a lot about the different types of investor you can be such as qualfied, sophisticated, insider, ultimate, etc. Beinig an ultimate investor is someone who creates a business that everyone wants a share out of such as Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and he gives practial advice on how to get onto that path, which has certainly inspired me, which is too build a business which is an asset that can buy other assets and grow your money.

That is what has inspired me to get into the tech industry because there is so much innovation going on that, I would love after I finish acquiring the knowledege and skills, make my own tech start-up, get acquired, and then invest in other assets and be an inspiration to other people who want to become entrepreneurs and business owners themselves, the way Robert Kiyosaki has inspired me. With that being said, I hope you enjoy the blog and stay tuned for more soon! Cheers!
