Now, for the last couple of blogs I have been speaking on my journey, my inspirations, and books that I have been reading in order to help me on my technology journey. I will continue those types of blogs as I progress, but now I wanted to speak on more specific things as to what it pertains to the software industry. As in what is software development and its importance in today's society!
According to an article by Indeed, "software development is the process programmers use to build computer programs." Software in general are programs designed to tell the computer what to do. There are three basic types of software, which are system, programming, and application. Each one of these types of software are distinct and are needed in order to make the computer software as effective as possible. Also in order to have software development you must go through a software development life cycle. SDLC is a cost-effective, time-efficient process that development teams use to design and build high-quality software. There are multiple phases to the SDLC and can be found below in this photo.
Those are the six components of the software development life cycle and in order to explain it needs a blog on its own, so I will do a part 2 to this later. Software development is important to any business and there are so many reasons why. Here are a few below from an article by Lobster Digital Marketing.

Overall, software development has changed the world for the better and is making businesses more efficient, scalable, and productive. The more I read about software development and its power, I can only imagine what I can do once I get into the industry. Software development has redefined the way we work through the cloud, way we interact through mobile applications, how we purchase through the customer journey through advertisements and even how companies manage data to make business decisions. Software development is changing the world, and I can't believe that I have chosen this path to make a difference as a future innovator and entrepreneur.
